Introduction

Hello all you internets [sic]!

I am a not-by-choice stay at home mom with a PhD in something entirely unrelated to momming. I love the momming but would also like to have some extra cash for things like clothes, food, and dear god a housekeeper. I live in Hotlanta with my son, two dogs, and husband, not necessarily in that order. Some days I want to be a wildly successful writer. Some days I want to live on a farm. It sure is a good thing that I have a degree in engineering.

I hope that this blog will be both a creative outlet and a place to chronicle all of the strange and wonderful things that happen around me so that when I am old and ugly at least I'll have good stories to tell and maybe that way people will not mind my old person smell too much, and also they will bring me chocolate.

I am short, left handed, and mildly attractive. I really hope that my son gets my husband's nose.

This blog's name is in reference to my difficult last name (pronounced more-burr) and an incident in which I was introduced instead as someone who would like another pint, please, to my entire PhD qualifying committee. Pretty much the story of my life.
